Household reclamation / road to an office

Day 6 -- more desk.

Only got the one shelf done, but on the other hand, everything related to the probate of my Dad's estate in 2003 is now in folders and in a file cabinet. Everything else -- including a bunch of the stuff that was on the desk as "need to file this" -- is in labeled file folders back in that first pigeonhole.

The second pigeonhole contains the label-maker, and the third contains empty file folders.


Tomorrow, the software and the office supplies!

Again great progress... Its particularly impressive when I think how far its come in just 2 days. Now its all about "refining". Well done!

Well, there are the middle shelf and the two cupboards, and the top of the hutch, but it really is coming along, and I'm happy.

Today's project is a big achievement. I still miss my Dad, who died in 1976...and I would imagine that filing estate paperwork would be an emotional endpoint.
Breathe deeply. That one shelf may have been why you'd postponed the entire desk.

And now I'll take off my second-hand shrink hat and just say : YAY YOU!
