1/6th scale (Barbie(tm)-scale) theaters, with lighting, drapes, fly-in scenery, and more. Originally developed to teach lighting design, until the professor realized that if he added more Stuff, he could teach many aspects of theatre in the classroom.

I've seen where similar setups are used to teach about crime scenes. Neat. I've often wished for the patience to build such things. I don't know what I'd ever do with it once finished, but the idea of building them has always interested me.
