My copy of _Side Jobs_ (audio book) just arrived! Unabridged. 12 CDs. Read by James Marsters.

Happy Janet is happy.

I've read the book, and now I'm excited to have the audio version, because Marsters reads Dresden really well.

So recently I acquired some free credits at audible.com, and I splurged and got "Turn Coat" and "Changes". And I remembered your comment about "Changes".

You weren't just whistling Dixie. Holy Moley. I was trying to think of any other time I've seen an author DO that to a character, and I'm coming up blank. (The part about Mouse in the jungle was particularly WONDERFUL.)

Also, the novella in "Side Jobs" that takes place immediately after the end of "Changes" is (IMO) AWESOME in the extreme. Quite deserving of many many squees!

One of the few series we buy in hardcover and fight over who gets first custody.

James Masters *is* an incredible reader for the Dresden Files.

PS: my favorite character in the series isn't Harry, but Mouse.
