Oh, yes, that was a surprise. I'm still boggling over the how and why of it all, which should help keep me from being too impatient for Blackout.

I will say one thing for this book; it's a good book when I forget to eat. Deadline made me forget about dinner. And dessert.

I only got my copy a few hours ago (last shelf copy in a Barnes & Noble, so I assume that means it's selling well). Will be diving further into it after a nap.

People here who don't read her lj ( know Janet and Bill do, they posted there)- She posted pre-Feed prequels for a month leading up to Deadline. (see here, for those who don't- http://seanan-mcguire.livejournal.com/tag/deadline - and read the posts "T-Minus--- to Deadline). Now I'm re-reading Feed before I start Deadline.
