Signal boosting, via a FOAFOAF: special-needs dog needs a home

Beowulf is deaf and very low vision. For reasons not specified in the post, his current foster family cannot keep him any longer. The rescue group is looking for a permanent home, but will accept a foster home. Beowulf is currently in Louisiana, but the rescue group will arrange transport to any location in the (probably continental) USA.
