Wouldn't have helped in a chemistry class, but

for not having thought about Avogadro's number in about 30 years, I came surprisingly close to remembering it when it came up in conversation (I came up with 6.02 x 1024; it's actually 6.02 x 1023).

(Oh, how did it come up in conversation? I was having lunch with a chemist.)
